Marine species across the Mediterranean are under threat. Traditional fishing practices are increasingly affecting the populations of important species, including sharks, rays, dolphins, sea turtles, seals and seabirds.
Glafkos Karchariou, the shark, calls the “Blue Conference” at Kakoskali, a small islet off the western coast of Cyprus. Marine species from different Mediterranean countries send their representatives to discuss how they can respond to the threat. Will they manage to approach the fishermen and show them that they are not a threat to their livelihood?
A wildly entertaining underwater tale, filled with hilarious marine characters, for children and adults alike!
